Introduction

This course is designed to engage students in advanced topics of Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Nutrition, Exercise Fitness and Sport Performance.  Students will study theories and perform therapeutic, exercise and sport evaluation techniques. Students will design, evaluate and execute a professional program base in the following fields of study: Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Weight Management, Personal Fitness or Sport Performance.

Your Faculty Director


Greg Rubendall has his USSF A License, NSCAA Master Coach, Premier, and Director of Coaching Diplomas, and a Masters Degree in Kinesiology from CSU – Chico. He also has his NSCA Certificate as Strength & Conditioning Specialist and ACSM Health Fitness Instructor licenses, as well as 6 years of teaching elementary and middle school physical education. 

He founded the Chico State Men’s College Club Soccer Program, which led to an increased connection with NIRSA (National Intercollegiate Recreational Sports Association). The creation of the West Coast Soccer Association, which now has over 70 universities involved in regional leagues, and possesses a promotion-relegation structure, prepares college club teams for the November NIRSA National Championships..
